yeahhh s_d wasnt just my window into Comics, it was like, the first community i really wanted to be a member of, and it was comics in a safe space but it wasnt RRR, THIS IS A SAFE SPACE, i remember it as mostly chill and fun but that might be nostalgia

there are so many comics recs kicking around in my head from back then

what were your favourite posts? mine were the one where catwoman had a bag full of ocelots + anything superdictionary + that time warren ellis posted the caterer

Oh man, you were obvs way more deeply in it than I was! I only discovered it like 6 months-a year before it closed down, but I remember browsing the archive for funny posts while I was procrastinating on schoolwork.

But yeah, it seemed like a really friendly and safe community. I wish I had participated in it more.
